Back in January or February I stated that my current series, Cuboids (formally Two Cuboids 36 – 18 – 6), of images was almost complete and ready to be released into the world…and nothing appeared on the interwebz. I am happy to say that the series is complete; images have been selected and documentation has commenced. I suspect that the process will take a few weeks before appearing here and on kevinmcdevitt.com. In the meantime, I will occasionally post: roughs, studies, and B-sides. Maybe? It could happen.
The evolutionary process an image or series goes through has always been fascinating. Does sharing the evolutionary process detract or enhance the work? Your thoughts…

Been locked away in the studio, diligently working on the completion of Two Cuboids 36 – 18 – 6. I know that this was scheduled to be completed back in January. Then I said it was going to be completed in March, I think? Well, I’m happy to say that I am 3 images away from its completion. The finish line is in sight, but this is not the time for celebrating. More must be done before the popping of the cork.
Psst! Come closer. If you listen closely you can hear the thunderous applause of my inner cheering section building with every brush stroke.
