Been locked away in the studio, diligently working on the completion of Two Cuboids 36 – 18 – 6. I know that this was scheduled to be completed back in January. Then I said it was going to be completed in March, I think? Well, I’m happy to say that I am 3 images away from its completion. The finish line is in sight, but this is not the time for celebrating. More must be done before the popping of the cork.
Psst! Come closer. If you listen closely you can hear the thunderous applause of my inner cheering section building with every brush stroke.

Statement
Working in a series has allowed me to explore pure painting through sequence. The sequence is the mechanism that advances the work through the process of deconstruction and gives existence to the plane. It is important to stay true to the two-dimensionality of the support surface and not create a false impression of three-dimensionality, as this may produce a paradox.
